What is your role at Metalis?
I am one of the Recruitment Consultants on the permanent team at Metalis. My role is to provide a unique and tailored recruitment service for both my candidates and clients. Ultimately, I register and then match skilled workers to relevant openings and vacancies.
What did you do before you worked at Metalis?
Previous to my role at Metalis, I worked in an Estate Agency as a sales negotiator in residential properties for three years. During my time as an Estate Agent, a couple of my responsibilities were to generate new business in a target driven environment and negotiate offers, both these being transferrable skills which now assist me in my career at Metalis.
What do you enjoy the most about your job?
I enjoy the competitive environment that I work in and the satisfaction of pleasing both customer and client. I find working for a forward-thinking and motivated company makes my job much more rewarding and of course getting to work with an amazing team who are all so supportive.
What do you like to do outside of work?
Outside of work I enjoy cooking healthy meals and going to the gym… whether that’s to be fit or just to wear the nice gym clothes who knows?! I also will never say no to a cocktail night with the girls and jetting off somewhere hot whenever I get the chance.
