Role: Assembly Operative
Location: Chesterfield - S41

Salary: £15.00ph
12 Week Probation Period (Temporary - Permanent role)
Metalis are currently working with a precision manufacturer, who produce high quality and complex products who are looking for an experienced Assembly Operative to join their team.
Job Duties:
- Checking of parts prior to assembly to ensure they are compliant with the parts lists and specification.
- Sub-assembly and final assembly build to be compliant with the overall specifications.
- Assist with the production of job specific RAMS.
- Packing of equipment, including quality checking procedures, to comply with quality transportation of finished product to site.
- Notify Line Manager of stock shortages prior to there being an impact on production.
- Maintenance and upkeep of all quality work procedures.
- Always feedback quality issues to management.
- Complete time sheets daily and pass back weekly.
Job Requirements:
- Assembly experience essential.
- Good knowledge and experience of working with pneumatic circuits and systems - Advantages.
- Hold a recognised qualification as a minimum NVQ2 and served a full mechanical apprenticeship
- Understanding of how to work to quality procedures
- Able to read/understand engineering drawings
- Experience with cranes - Advantages
Salary & Shift:
- Monday - Thursday 7:30am - 4pm
- Friday 7:30am - 1pm
- £15ph
