Metalis are working with a rapidly expanding mobility business who are looking for a skilled Fabricator to join they're team as a Welder/Fabricator - Automotive Adaptations Kit Designer that can assist them in delivering even more life changing adaptations to their customers throughout the UK and Internationally.
The Role:
- Report to the Kit Design Team Leader
- Design vehicle specific adaptations focusing upon customer functionality
- Carry out on-site installation
Required Skills:
- A strong mechanical bias, preferably from an automotive background
- MIG welding
- Able to apply fabrication skills to a bespoke design
- Proficient in the basic Microsoft packages
- Able to read from engineering drawings
- Comfortable in dealing with customers on a one-to-one basis
Package:
- £28,000 per annum
- 7.00am to 3.30pm Monday - Thursday & 7.00am to 2.00pm Fridays (39 hours)
- 31 days holiday (including Statutory) & extra holidays for length of service
