Metalis have recently partnered with a specialist engineering firm who are a leader in their field. This business has been operating for 30+ years and their varied team of designers are looing for a new member to join the business.
As a CAD Desgin Engineer you will be working Monday - Friday, 0830 - 16:30 and the salary will be paid up to £30,000. This company has been growing steadily over the years and it because of this continued growth and healthy future orders that they are hiring.
Daily Duties will include:
- Using AutoCad and Solidworks to produce detailed 2D/3D drawings.
- Creating drawings within an agreed timescale.
- Assist the wider team where needed.
- Interpreting client briefs and working out solutions to problems which may arise.
- Working with the wider production team to support on projects.
- Attending site and client visits.
- Using the 3Dprinter to produce models throughout various stages of production.
About you:
- You will have come from a CAD Engineer position or be skilled in AutoCAD/Solidworks.
- Be Mechanically/Engineering minded.
- Able to overcome challenges with calm thinking.
- A natural team player who supports the wider group.
- Able to work to tight deadlines.
