Metalis are currently working with a client based in LEEDS, who specialise in manufacturing precision machined components for a variety of industries. They are looking for a PERMANENT and FULL TIME CNC Machinist to join their rapidly growing and busy team. The right candidate must be capable of Programming, Setting and Operating CNC Lathes and Milling machines.
Hours:
Monday to Friday, the right candidate must be willing to work days and afternoons
Salary:
Between £16.64ph and £17.58ph dependant on experience. Overtime also available
Duties:
- Programming, Setting and Operating both CNC Lathes and CNC Milling machines
- Machining to tight tolerances
- Operating Fanuc controls
Person Specification:
- Ideally apprentice trained
- Capable of Programming, Setting and Operating
- Ability to use CNC Lathes and CNC Milling machines
- Use measuring equipment
- Read and understand technical drawings
