Job Role: CNC Operative
Location: Sheffield
Shift: Days
Salary: £10 - 11ph, 12 Weeks temporary to permanent
Metalis are working with an engineering business in Sheffield that produce a wide range of components such as steel nuts, connectors, and other machined components. The products produced vary in length and batch size and are machined from stainless steel.
Due to expansion, our client is looking for a CNC Operative in their turning section to join their team.
Shift Pattern:
Monday - Thursday: (08.00am - 4.30pm)
Friday: (08.00am - 3.30pm)
Role Requirements:
- Operating a CNC Turning machine (Fanuc)
- Loading and unloading of materials and components
- Working towards business objectives and production targets
- Basic Machine maintenance
- General Tidiness and Cleaning duties
Person Specification:
- Previous experience working on CNC Lathes
- Health & Safety awareness (from within engineering environments)
- Willingness to help in other manufacturing cells if required
