Metalis are working with a well known group of manufacturing businesses who engineer products and components for various industries such as; aerospace, oil and gas, MOD and more.
They looking to recruit two experienced Electrical Engineers/Fitters to join their team and support the installation of a new multi-million pound project.
The successful applicants will be offered a fixed term position either as an Installation Electrician assigned to the project, or as a Electrical Maintenance engineer within their existing maintenance team.
This role involves:
- Ensuring all work is carried out within their health, safety and environmental rules, procedures and authorisations
- You will carry out all your duties with a strong focus safety and quality of work
- Working as part of a small team you will communicate in a timely manner to all the relevant parties to ensure they are well informed of the progress and any issues likely to cause disruption
- You will also be responsible for completing accurate job reports and stores records as well as for carrying out an effective handover with your supervisors and colleagues

The ideal candidate will have:
- Advanced Apprenticeship in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (or equivalent experience)
- Experience within an electrical engineer/fitter role in a medium or heavy industry would be advantageous
- Demonstrate knowledge of installation and testing of electrical and electronics, as well as experience in PLC's, hydraulics and pneumatics
- Experience in the use of continuous improvement methodology would be advantageous
