Job Title: Field Service Engineer
Pay: £30,000
Location: Remote, covering regional and occasional nationwide travel as needed
Job Overview:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and dedicated Field Service Engineer to join a leading manufacturing company. This role is primarily focused on servicing dust collection equipment, with additional responsibilities for compressed air, process filtration, and other specialised filtration systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strictly adhere to all Health and Safety procedures on-site and during travel.
- Conduct service, maintenance, and testing of industrial filtration equipment within your assigned region, with potential travel nationwide when needed.
- Efficiently arrive at customer sites in a timely and presentable manner.
- Identify and communicate opportunities for service upgrades, spare parts, and after-market care to enhance customer experience.
- Develop and maintain strong, positive relationships with customers to foster long-term support.
- Ensure all required paperwork is completed accurately and submitted promptly.
Requirements:
- Experience: Background in mechanical and/or electrical engineering, ideally with field-based service activity in filtration or similar industries.
- Skills: Proficient in IT with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Attributes: Highly professional, able to work independently and as part of a wider team, and possess a proactive "can-do" attitude.
- License: Full Clean UK Driving Licence, with the flexibility to travel nationwide.
- Health & Safety: Strong awareness and commitment to safety protocols.
