Job Role: HGV Fitter
Location: Barnsley
Salary: Up to £16.50 per hour
Shift: Days
Metalis is working in partnership with an expanding specialist engineering business with strong global links throughout their industry, they are market leaders within their sector offering an outstanding product.
Due to an extensive order book and ongoing projects, they are looking for multiple experienced HGV Fitters to hit the ground running.
Daily Duties:
- Diagnosis, maintenance, service & repair of HGV vehicles.
- Working on site & travel to customers if required
- Complete the final inspection of 7.5 - 44 ton HGV's
Requirements:
- Must have previous HGV fitting & maintenance experience
- Ability to carry out planned & preventative maintenance measures and report
- Class 2 Licence (desirable)
- Fit and healthy as the role requires labouring tasks
Salary & Hours:
- 08:30 - 17:00 Monday to Friday or Tuesday to Saturday
- 12 weeks temporary to permanent
