Metalis Engineering are currently supporting a leading UK provider of industrial automation solutions. The company specialises in designing and developing innovative systems across a wide range of industries.

Their projects span across various sectors, such as: food and beverage processing, manufacturing, water and wastewater treatment, hospitality, waste recycling, airports, energy management and much more.

The Opportunity:

Due to winning contracts, the company is expanding and seeking a highly skilled Instrumentation, Control & Automation (ICA) Engineer to join their team.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a growing organisation at the forefront of industrial automation, contributing to impactful projects and shaping future industry advancements.

This hybrid role offers a balanced schedule, with approximately 60% of your time spent on client sites, 20% working from home, and 20% based at the company workshop or office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their specific requirements and develop tailored automation solutions.
  • Design, implement, and test automation systems using cutting-edge tools and methodologies.
  • Partner with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and ongoing maintenance for automation systems.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation.

About You:
The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience in industrial automation, control systems, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in SCADA systems
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to deliver solutions under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills for collaboration with internal teams and clients.
  • A passion for innovation and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
