Installations Manager / Project Manager
Location: Sutton-in-Ashfield
Shifts: Monday - Friday
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Installation Manager to oversee and manage the installation of various construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating and supervising the installation team to ensure successful completion of projects within budget and time line.You must have experience within a fabrication environment and be happy to "get on the tools" when needed.
Due to the nature of the business and the product being sold candidates must be a UK Citizen and be prepared to undertake a Security Clearance check.
Responsibilities
- Plan, organise, and oversee the installation of construction projects including in difficult locations and buildings.
- Coordinate with project engineers, construction managers, and site managers to ensure efficient execution of installation plans
- Lead and manage a team of installation professionals, providing guidance and support as needed
- Develop and maintain project schedules, progress reports, and budgets
- Communicate and collaborate with various stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and subcontractors
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve any installation-related issues that may arise
- Be prepared to work away or abroad for up to 4-6 weeks on installations
- Collaborating with project engineers and construction managers to streamline installation processes
- Communicating with clients and stakeholders to provide project updates and address any concerns
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
- Proven experience in installation project management
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Proficiency in project planning and scheduling software
- SMSTS or IOSH qualifacation or similar
