The company are leaders in machining components for the oil and gas MOD and Fabrication Industry, and specialise in heavy machining. Knowledge of machining and inspection of fabricated large products is expected.

The staff are setting, operating and programming of their CNC millers and Lathes to produce components used in various industries. The ideal candidate will have a similar working background and be confident in their own working ability to work independently. The company is looking for someone who can come into their machine shop and hit the ground running in terms of confidently and competently visually inspecting machined components and using measuring equipment confidently. Measuring equipment includes but is not limited to:

· Rulers

· Verniers

· Micrometers

· CMM machines.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable working to various tolerances that can be between 30 thou and 2 thou, this is both dimensionally and concentricity measured. The company pride themselves on their health and safety and safe working practices, all PPE is provided for all employees and must be worn in certain areas at all times. The company are looking for someone with previous experience in this role, and is organised and expereicned to keep all paperwork up to date, organise calibration and inspection of CMM machine, take responsibility and control of the inspection department as well as logging all equipment out.
