Job Title: Machine Shop Supervisor
Location: Leeds
Salary: £15.20 rising to £16.70 after probation, plus night shift allowance of £60/week
Shifts: Permanent Night Shift
Metalis are currently in partnership with an engineering company who are actively looking for a Machine Shop Supervisor.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- The Machine Shop Supervisor will be responsible to ensure machines are run efficiently, complete and meet standard within time scales and deadlines.
- To work with components and have experience in this field is extremely desired/necessary for this role.
- Experience in Heidenhein or Fanuc machining steel.
- Must have online programming experience.
- Ensure that all Health and Safety legislation and regulations are adhered to by the site teams.
- Supervising a small team of machinists.
Job requirements:
- Apprentice trained/Qualified/Time Served (multiple years) experience is necessary for this position.
- Experience working within the Rail/Automotive sector is highly desired.
Shifts and Salary:
- £15.20 rising to £16.70 after probation, plus night shift allowance of £60/week
- Nights only
- Nights 20.00-06.00 Mon-Thur). Monday - Thursday.
