Our reputable client has over 100 years' experience manufacturing and developing Quality Tools and Accessories. Based in Dronfield, they are lead manufacturers for a variety of industries such as Mining, Quarrying, Rock Drilling, Civil Engineering and Construction Industries.
They are looking to recruit a Maintenance Engineer to join their hard-working team.
Hours: (38.5 hours per week)
Monday to Thursday: 07:30am - 16:00pm
Friday: 07:30am - 14:30pm
Salary:
Salary: £31,980per annum
Duties will include:
- Performing planned maintenance
- Responding quickly and effectively to breakdowns
- Fault finding/diagnostics
- Working in diverse areas i.e. forging operations, heat treatment, shotblast
- CNC & manual machining, friction welding etc.
Suitable candidates:
- Be a fully qualified Electrician, apprentice trained, preferably with 17th Edition qualification
- Have mechanical engineering skills
- Ideally be Ipaf trained
- Have experience in a manufacturing/production environment
- Be able to work unsupervised as part of a small multi-disciplined team
- Possess strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships
- Be able to work overtime, sometimes at short notice
- Be IT literate
- Have the ability to work efficiently to ensure all tasks are carried out in a safe manner
