We are currently recruiting on behalf of our reputable and well established client for an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias with Mechanical Knowledge), based at their Worksop factory. Our client is a successful cocoa and chocolate manufacturer, producing food and products for a range of industries.
Salary:
Between £35,000 - £40,000 per annum depending upon experience
Hours:
2 rotating day shift patterns, Monday to Friday.
6am until 14:00pm
10am until 18:00pm
Every third week will involve Call Outs.
ROLE
- Ensure the equipment and environment is operated and cared for and meeting all current legislation and conforming to standards
- To strive to improve the efficiency and eliminate costs form the business
- Repair and maintain all factory equipment and machinery in a timely and efficient manner
- Follow work schedules and react to production priorities
- Ensure the workshop area is maintained according to housekeeping standards
- Understand and follow departmental operating procedures
REQUIREMENTS
- Electrical Bias with proficient mechanical knowledge
- HNC qualified would be beneficial.
- Apprentice Trained in a maintenance discipline preferably multi skilled would be desirable
- 17th or 18th Edition Certified
- Manufacturing Experience
- Methodical fault-finding approach
- Root Cause Analysis Experience
- Experience of working in a planned preventative maintenance environment
- Experience of CMMS (Maximo Preferred)
- Experience with PLCs (Siemens preferred)
- Experience of industrial control systems - instrumentation, motors, VFD's
- Desirable - Experience of DCS' (PCS7 preferred)
- Desirable - Thermographic Training certification

- 6am - 2pm / 10am - 6pm shifts (third week will involve call out)
