Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Location: Sheffield
Shifts: Days, afternoons & nights rotating
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum
Metalis are working with a UK wide medical manufacturing company who supply a variety of different products to the orthopaedic sector. They are on the lookout for a permanent maintenance technician to join their team in Sheffield.
Job Role:
- Perform machine maintenance and basic facility repairs according to safety regulations and processes.
- Respond to breakdowns and perform unscheduled repairs of production equipment.
- Perform install and maintenance to site machinery.
- Capable of mechanical work including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic repairs.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose problems, replace or repair parts and all other associated tasks.
- Perform basic facilities maintenance or electrical maintenance.
- Use a variety of different hand and power tools and material handling equipment.
- Comply to all health & safety equipment.
Job Requirements:
- Apprentice trained in a relevant engineering discipline would be an advantage.
- Plumbing and HVAC experience.
- Fault finding.
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
