Our client are a global aerospace manufacturing company who are renowned for their craftmanship and engineering capabilities. Due to an increase in demand they are looking to add a permanent Manual Grinder to join their impressive shop floor.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manual Grinding of products in the shop floor
- Angle Grinding
- Familiar with using a variety of measuring equipment including verniers and calipers
- Adherence to company Health and Safety Policy
- Maintenance of shop floor housekeeping standards.
Salary & Shifts:
- Days & Afternoons
- £14.55PH (DAYS)
- £14.55PH + 1.25 shift allowance (AFTERNOONS)
- Overtime available at time ½
- Monday - Friday, no weekend working
Person Specification:
- Proven ability to work from engineering drawings
- Understanding grinding thickness, width and ends to size on rectangular and square steel section
- Must have angle grinding experience
