Metalis are currently working with a specialist manufacturing company who are looking to add a Manufacturing Manager on a permanent basis to oversee the production process and ensure that all operations are effective and efficient.
The Role:
- Manage schedule adherence of production Operations
- Monitor plan / actual & report to Sales for future bids.
- Manage all resources and staffing levels
- Communicate and feedback any scheduling or quality issues
- Attend quality meeting and participate in NCR activities, identifying the root cause.
- Lead and motivate teams of production workers, Team Leaders, and support staff, running daily production meetings
- Work to Lean Manufacturing principles, including: Kaizen and Six Sigma.
The Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years' experience operating CNC machines.
- Team Leader experience
- Apprentice trained
- Fanuc or Mazatrol experience advantageous
- Proficiency in using manufacturing software, ERP systems, and other relevant tools for production management and analysis.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement
