£11.00 - £15.00 per hour (Subject to Experience)
Our client has over 20 years supporting engineering and manufacturing projects. Due to several large contracts wins they are now looking to add a full time Paint Sprayer to their experienced team in Sheffield.
ROLE OUTLINED:
This is a 12 week' temporary-permanent opportunity that will lead to long term stable employment for the right committed person.
You will be working in a team of around 7 employees and involved with Paint Spraying a wide variety of products ranging up to 3metre in length and diameter.
Some of the sectors that this company perform work for include the Oil & Gas and Offshore industries. This means that some of the projects require up to 5 protective coats of paint!
WORK HOURS:
Monday to Thursday: 06.00 am - 2.00pm
Friday: 06.00am - 1.00pm
ROLE REQUIRMENTS:
- Using and working with paint spraying equipment
- Prepping work in the workshop
- Ensuring accurate and desired finishes for each project
- Overseeing quality of work and visual inspection
- Working in a fast-paced production environment
- Handling components and general labouring tasks
- Trained to use an FLT to help other areas of the business - such as goods in/out etc
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
- Good eye for detail
- Able to follow direction
- Physically fit and able to manually move items
- Previous background in paint spraying
