Payroll & Accounts Administrator
Metalis are recruiting for a Payroll/Accounts Assistant to join our busy recruitment agency based in Rotherham/Sheffield. We are looking for somebody experienced with a strong payroll/accounts background, and good knowledge of the payroll process and invoicing.
This role requires somebody part time to work on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. 8:30AM - 4:30PM.
The role will involve the following duties and responsibilities:
- Support the payroll function for clients and candidates
- Knowledge of high-volume payroll processing (essential)
- Previous experience dealing with usual payroll processes such as SSP, P45, P46
- Timesheet chasing to hit payroll deadlines
- Manage payroll queries
- Knowledge of using Quickbooks or other accounting systems
- Experience in invoicing
The ideal candidate:
- Ability to work fast and hit payroll deadlines
- Good communicator
- Strong knowledge of the payroll process
- Basic knowledge of general accounts and invoice chasing
