Metalis are working with a successful engineering company based in Alfreton who are looking to expand their team. They currently require an enthusiastic Press Brake Setter/Operator to join their busy profiling company.
The Role -
Responsibilities:
- Setting/Operating press brake machines and ensuring continuous running to ensure maximum productivity
- Reading engineering drawings and performing basic tooling changes
- Most items are run off the mill but there is also bespoke work
- Loading of materials on and off the press machines, either by crane or manually
- Marking up of pressed parts and packing
- Knowledge on programming AMS (angle measuring systems) is advantageous
The Candidate:
- The company are looking to employ a candidate who is experienced with Press Brake equipment
- The ideal candidate will be engineering minded and able to read drawings
- You will need good attention to detail and be physically fit/able
- Technical knowledge surrounding press brake equipment is desirable
Salary & Package:
- £11.00 - £14.00 p/h subject to experience
- Pension scheme, 28 holidays a year

Hours & Shifts:
- Days Regular
- Monday - Thursday 07:00am - 4.00pm
- Fridays 07:00am - 1.00pm
- Overtime available in busy periods and is paid at time and a third Monday to Friday and Weekends at time and a half
