Metalis are working with a leading manufacturer of stainless-steel commercial equipment and fabrications operating from a purpose-built factory in Derbyshire.
Due to continued success, we are looking for an experienced Press Brake & CNC Punch Press Operators to join a highly motivated team. Experience of operating an Amada press brake or CNC Punch Press would be highly beneficial, but machine specific training will be provided.
Key Duties
- Efficient and safe operation of the press brake & punch press
- Planned preventive maintenance of press brake & punch press
- Processing of bent parts in full kits for the next process to improve output
- Inspecting work for quality.
- Adherence to Health and Safety procedures
- Carrying out other duties as required in line with business needs
Experience & Qualifications
- Must possess experience and capability in operating and setting press brake & CNC punch press machines
- Knowledge and experience in Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement
- Possess good communication, organisational and numeracy skills
- Be able to work within a team or on your own
- Possess a positive attitude and aptitude to learn
- Experience of quality standard ISO2001
Salary & Hours
- £11 - 13ph
- Mornings & Afters
- Mornings - Monday to Thursday 7.00am - 3.30pm and Friday 7.00am - 1.30pm
- Afters - Monday to Thursday 12.00pm - 8.30pm and Friday 12.00pm - 6.30pm
- 12 weeks temporary to permanent
- 25 days holiday + stats
