One of our clients are looking to add a Production manager to their team. This role will be over looking the entire manufacturing process of over 50 staff on site and ensuring all runs smoothly across the shifts they operate.
The company are experts in high precision CNC machining and multi axis work, completing sub contract work for various clients including those from Automation, Aerospace and Oil & Gas industries.
Job duties will include:
- Production Planning and prioritising work
- Management of staff
- Disciplinaries
- Recruitment
- Liaison between the technical teams, Shop floor and suppliers
- Increasing productivity
- Optimisation of resources and tooling
- Promoting safe working and Health and safety on site
- Ensuring staff and customers are happy, and satisfied
The successful person will work alongside the MD and the current Production manager to learn the business, its products and processes before he steps away from the business.
This company is looking for someone to run the overall shop floor ensuring the smooth running of production.
This role would suit either a Production manager with experience and years under his belt, or a Team Leader/Supervisor looking to step up in their career.
