Metalis are working with a leading manufacturer of stainless-steel commercial equipment and fabrications operating from a purpose-built factory in Derbyshire.
Due to continued success, we are looking for an experienced Factory Operative to join our highly motivated team. Experience of working in an engineering manufacturing stainless background would be highly beneficial, but not essential as training will be provided.
Key Duties
- Building and preparing working machines and components
- Working with air tools
- Inspecting work for quality.
- Adherence to Health and Safety procedures
- Carrying out other duties as required in line with business needs
Experience & Qualifications
- Must possess experience in an engineering background
- Knowledge and experience in Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement
- Possess good communication, organisational and numeracy skills
- Be able to work within a team or on your own
- Possess a positive attitude and aptitude to learn
Salary & Hours
- £10 - 11ph
- Monday to Thursday 7.00am - 3.30pm and Friday 7.00am - 1.30pm.
- 12 weeks temporary to permanent
- 25 days holiday + stats
