Metalis Recruitment are working with a well known engineering company who manufacture, service,repair and install a very well known product of machinery into multiple sectors including, entertainment,heath-care and education.

They are looking to add a project coordinator/estimator to their team, this role will focus on supporting both the engineering and sales teams.

Day to Day duties will include:

  • The pricing of products, components and labour costs
  • liaising with clients and customers
  • coordinating between multiple teams within the office
  • planning out engineers diaries and using initiative
  • Taking ownership of projects in a fast paced environment.
  • Utilising Excellent Customer Service Skills
  • Account management.

No engineering experience is needed, however it is desired, the main thing the company are looking for is the right attitude and enthusiasm towards work ethic.

The company are looking to offer a wide range of packages depending on the person and what prior experience they can bring to the table.

  • Trainee- £19- £21k
  • Account manager expereince £24k-£26k
  • Team Leader/Prior estimating experience within engineering £28-£32k


Over-arching Objectives:

  • Responsible for the review of engineer's recommendations and client requests resulting in the production of minor works quotations, securing minor works orders, procurement of parts and scheduling repairs timely with an admin team and repair teams under their control.
  • Performance criteria
  • Achieve turnover and profit margins targeted for the year. Ensure that client requirements and expectations are met.
  • Work to the company quality system.
  • Provide the Regional Director/Service Manager with operational data to include but not limited to; quotation levels and order intake for minor works.
  • Promote the company culture.
