Metalis are currently working for a Sheffield based Alloy stockholdist and machining company, due to growth and development our client is looking to hire a sawing operative on a 3 month rolling contract,
The Role Will Include:
- Operating saws, cutting steel and Nickel
- Maintenance of all saws, liaising with Operations Manager and suppliers.
- Coolant/Blade Stock control
- Extracting jobs using lifting equipment including slings, cranes, and FLT
- Weighing, measuring and inspection of orders prior to despatch
- Packing and despatching of goods out
- Visual inspection
- Cleaning down machinery
- General Workshop duties
- Adhere to the company H&S policy
Shifts and Salary:
- Salary: £12.00p/h and Afters Paid at 25% Shift allowance
- Days: 6am - 2pm Monday to Friday
- Afters: 2pm - 11pm Mon, Tue, Wed 2pm - 10.30pm Thurs & 2pm to 6pm Fri.
