Job Role: Sewing Machinist
Location: Sheffield
Salary: £11.44ph - £12.00ph
Metalis are working with a prestigious manufacturing company based in Sheffield, who due to production demands are looking for an experienced sewing machinist to join their busy shop floor.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Interpret manufacture sheets or drawing provides, cutting lengths from rolls to create width of curtain.
- Marking out joint position and fixing joint tapes.
- Use of hand and power tools.
- Taking measurements, sizes and quantities.
- Adhering to health and safety.
Person Specification:
- Experience operating industrial sewing machines.
- Experience working from drawings.
- Physically fit due to nature of the role - heavy lifting.
Salary and Shifts:
- Days regular, Monday - Friday.
- £11.44 - £12ph - dependent on experience.
- 12 weeks temporary to permanent role.
