Position: Steel Warehouse Operative
Location: Rotherham, S65
Metalis is working with a Rotherham based Steel stockholder who Due to growth and expansion are seeking a hard-working operative to join their site.
This is a temporary position that will lead to permanent employment after the 12 weeks probationary period is complete.
Role Outlined:
- Operating FLT, Overhead cranes, and side loaders (Licenses after 12 weeks)
- General Workshop duties
- Opportunity to operate bandsaws, gas profilers or lasers.
- Moving steel stock around the site and loading/unloading
Shift Pattern:
The shift pattern operates on a rotating basis:
- Morning shift is (Monday to Thursday 6am to 1.30pm & Fri 12pm finish
- After's shift is Monday to Thursday 1 to 9pm & Fri 8pm finish
- Night's shift is Monday to Thursday 9pm to 6am & Friday 4am finish
Salary:
- £10.71 per hour for initial 12 weeks and a pay review with permanent contract offer
- Time and half for overtime, double time on a Sunday
- £28 shift allowance per nights shift
