Job Role: TIG Welder
Location: Huddersfield
Salary: £14.00 - 16.00ph dependant on experience
Metalis is working in partnership with an independent sub-contractor in Huddersfield who due to continuous growth are looking to hire a skilled TIG Welder on a 12 week temporary to permanent contract.
Job Duties:
- Read and work to engineering drawings to produce high quality welded basic and complex assemblies
- Mainly TIG Welding with sheet metal & stainless steel
- Measuring and marking out drilling spots and performing drilling duties
- Cleaning down, finishing & polishing materials to a high standard
Job Requirements:
- Ideally apprentice trained or time served TIG welder
- Must have experience with sheet metal & stainless steel within a high tolerance environment.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Good accuracy and attention to detail
Salary & Shift:
- 38.5 hour working week,
- Monday to Thursday 07:45 - 16:15, Friday 07:45 - 14:00
- £14 - 16ph dependant on experience
- Overtime time & half
- Potential for travel allowance
