TIG Welder (Temporary - 2 Weeks, Immediate Start)
Location: Ripley, Derby
Hours: Day Shift
Rate: £20 per hour + (DOE)
About the Role
At Metalis, we are looking for experienced TIG Welders to support an increase in workload for a specialist manufacturer producing high-quality fabrication on a 2 week contract with an immediate start available.
Key Responsibilities
- TIG welding on stainless steel
- Working from technical drawings and fabrication plans
- Producing clean, precise welds to a high standard
- Assisting with general fabrication duties where required
- Ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area
Requirements
- Proven experience in TIG welding (essential)
- Experience working with stainless steel fabrication
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- High attention to detail and quality
- Previous workshop or manufacturing environment experience
- Ability to hit the ground running with minimal supervision
