Role: Toolmaker
Location: Sheffield
Shift: Days 39 Hour working week
Salary: Up to £13ph
Metalis is working with a market leading manufacturer in their field based in Sheffield.
Due to expansion and a full project book, they are looking for a Toolmaker to join their team.
Duties:
- Refurbish and maintain existing tooling / fixtures to satisfy the day-to-day production facility requirements.
- Design, develop and manufacture new tooling / fixtures creating tooling drawings
- To assist in product development activities, manufacture proto-types
Experience:
- Time served or apprentice trained Toolmaker or similar CNC and tooling experience/qualifications.
- Track record of improving production processes via reengineering of Press tool design
- Must have experience setting, operating & programming CNC milling machinery and manual Milling machines, lathes and surface grinders
