Job Role: Business Support Assistant

Location: Sheffield

Salary: £29000

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm

Metalis is working in partnership with a well-established engineering company in Sheffield, who due to continuous growth are looking to hire a skilled Business Support Administrator.

Job Duties:

  • Day to Day administration tasks, producing a wide range of business reports and planning activities.
  • Entering Sales orders and checking stock on the ERP system
  • Co-ordinating weekly and monthly meetings, including diary management and admin support, organising and co-ordinating calendars, arranging & minuting meetings.
  • Preparing data with the use of excel/pivot tables for example and formatting power point presentation.
  • Assisting in preparation for training and other events, ensuring room set up, preparing paperwork, printing, and making up presentation packs.
  • Attending Teams meetings with key customer accounts to discuss order book alignment.
  • Up-dating customer schedules and replying to customer queries.
  • Taking minutes in the board meetings and occasional management meetings.
  • Co-ordinating weekly and monthly meetings, including diary management and admin support, organising and co-ordinating calendars, arranging & minuting meetings.
  • Any other reasonable duties as necessary.


Job Requirements:

  • Experience in adminstration/business support for an engineering, metal, manufacturing or related company is essential
  • Computer Literate, proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and experience working with an ERP system.
  • Excellent Administration skills with an eye for details and a need for accuracy
  • Ability to communicate at all levels
  • Outstanding Organisational skills.
  • Motivated, pro-active, reliable, flexible, team player, honest and trustworthy
