Shift: 4 day working week, 10-hour shifts - Days / Nights
Salary: £14.20+ DOE



Metalis are working with a prestigious Engineering company based in Leeds. They are well known for their design, manufacturing, and overhaul components within the automotive and rail sector.


They are a longstanding company, and due to an expanding order book, they are in search for a CNC Miller to join their welcoming and growing team for a fantastic new opportunity on a 12-week temporary to permanent contract.


Job Role:

  • CNC Miller - Setter & Operator, Programmer desired.
  • Working with mild steel/aluminium/stainless steel.
  • Tool tip changes.
  • Reading and working from engineering drawings.
  • To have some Fanuc milling experience to hit the ground running from the first week (and training will be given also)).
  • To have prior experience working on Milling machines Correa/Toshiba/Doosan and operating languages Fanuc/Heidenhain



Job Requirements:

  • Able to read and work from engineering drawings where necessary.
  • Is qualified, Apprentice Trained or time served within CNC Milling.
  • Programming experienced - desirable.
  • Happy to work shifts.



Shifts & Salary:

  • 4 x 10-hour DAY & NIGHT shifts, both days 06.00-16.00 and nights 20.00-06.00 Mon-Thur). Monday - Thursday (Able to work 12-hour shifts and paid overtime for the additional 2)
  • £14.20ph Basic+ (DOE), with £60 per week shift premium
  • Overtime after 40 hours is an additional £4.00 per hour.
