Job Role: CNC Turner
Location: Oldham
Shift: Days Only
Salary: £16.00 - 17.00ph dependant on experience
Metalis is working in partnership with an engineering company in Manchester who are looking to hire a skilled CNC Turner on a 12 week temporary to permanent contract.
Job Duties:
- Programming, setting up and operating Fanuc controlled lathes
- Reading and working from engineering drawings
- Ensuring components are produced to drawings requirements
- Maintaining a safe working environment complying with rules, regulations and company procedures
- Completing job cards / traceability documentation
Job Requirements:
- Ideally apprentice trained or time served CNC Machinist
- Working in a team environment
- Contributing to continuous improvements
- Must have experience within a high tolerance environment
- Good accuracy and attention to detail
Salary & Shift:
- 39 hour working week
- Monday to Friday
- Monday to Thursday 07:30 - 16:30, Friday 07:30 - 12:30
- £16 - 17ph dependant on experience
- Overtime available
