Job Role: Electrical Test Supervisor
Location: Leeds
Shift: Days regular
Salary: £40,000K + DOE



Metalis are working with a prestigious Engineering company based in Leeds. They are well known for their design, manufacturing, and overhaul components within the automotive and rail sector, who are currently looking to recruit an Electrical Test Supervisor.


Job Role:

  • The Electrical Test Supervisor will be responsible to ensure electrical equipment is complete and meet standard within time scales and deadlines.
  • To work with rail and automotive components and have experience in this field is extremely desired/necessary for this role.
  • Wire testing, panel wiring & crimping, and jumper cables.
  • Use of new test equipment
  • Testing, Repairing, Re-Tests
  • Planning and Co-ordination; keen eye for attention to detail needs.
  • Use of equipment including hand and power tools
  • Ensure that all Health and Safety legislation and regulations are adhered to by the site teams.
  • Supervising a small team of electrical engineers.


Job Requirements:

  • To hold experience within Supervisory & Electrical Testing roles.
  • Apprentice trained/Qualified/Time Served (multiple years) experience is necessary for this position.
  • Experience working within the Rail/Automotive sector is highly desired.
  • Test & Inspection experienced.



Shifts & Salary:

  • Monday - Friday, 8 hr shifts.
  • £40K+ Per Annum, DOE
