Job Role: Machine Operative
Location: Sutton-In-Ashfield
Metalis is working in partnership with a prestigious manufacturer in Sutton-in-Ashfield who due to continuous growth are looking to hire multiple Machine Operatives.
Job Duties:
- Reporting to the Works Supervisor
- Provide additional support where required on the Punch, Laser, Press Brake, Painting / Preparation Prior to paint and the After Paint Assembly process
- Ensuring a quality product to the standard manufacture tolerances
- Applicants should be flexible in their approach in providing the necessary support to ensure the smooth running of the fabrication process
- To effectively maintain the tidiness, safety, and cleanliness of the work areas
- As required sign for the receipt of delivered goods, deliver goods to the required area, forward any signed paperwork to the Works Supervisor
- Working closely with the Manufacturing Team, including the Works Supervisor, Lead Operatives, other Works Operatives and in addition, the Applications Engineers, Contracts Engineer, and Engineering Director at all times.
- Attend meetings as required/requested
Must Have Experience In One Of The Following:
- Punch
- Laser
- Press Brake
Salary and Shifts (2 Options):
Option 1 - Days Only
- 5-hour week
- Monday to Thursday 08:00 - 16:30 | Friday 08:00 - 16:00
- £11.56 per hour - Will move to a higher rate once all training & product knowledge has been achieved
Option 2 - Afters
- 5-hour week
- Monday to Thursday 08:00 - 16:30 | Friday 08:00 - 16:00
- £11.56 to £12.65 Per Hour - Depending upon experience
Once fully trained and on the Second Shift Hours & Rate are as follows:
- 38 Hour Week
- Monday to Thursday 16:00 - 02:00
- £15.37 to £16.82 Per Hour - Depending upon experience
