Job Role: Manual Miller
Location: Leeds
Shift: Four-day, 37-hour week from Monday to Thursday working 9 ¼ hours each day between 07:00-16:45 OR Nightshift 21:30 - 7:15.
Salary: Days = £14.00-£15.00ph // Nights = time & 1/3
Metalis is currently working with a prestigious manufacturing company who are based in Leeds, who are involved in the manufacturing of advanced Machinery supplied around the world and are involved in various industries. The company are looking to hire Manual Millers, 1 x Days, and 1 x Nights, on a 12-week temporary to permanent contract.
Job Role:
- General responsibility for the efficient setting up/operation of manual milling machinery.
- Run efficiently and produce good quality product at a good working pace.
- A good understanding of workshop practices
- Ability to produce good quality components to drawings.
- Experience of following working procedures.
- Confidence to report any problem areas affecting production.
- Improvements to housekeeping machine area.
- Assistance with the general running of the machines reporting to the Team leader / Manufacturing Manager.
Job Requirements:
- Apprentice Trained / Fully Qualified within Engineering
- Must be experienced with demonstratable experience.
Shifts & Salary:
- 4 day working week, Monday - Friday - 9 ¼ hrs daily shifts.
- Night shifts available with 1/3 shift allowance.
- £14 - £15.50ph (DOE) Days, time 1/3 increase on night shift.
