Job Role: Quality Engineer
Location: Sheffield, S9
Shift: Monday - Friday, 08:30 - 17:00
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000
Metalis is working in partnership with a well-established manufacturing company in Sheffield who due to continuous growth are looking to hire a skilled Group Quality Engineer
Job Duties:
- Working with the Group Quality Manager to maintain range of QMS approvals
- Maintenance of Supplier Approval(s).
- Engage & drive improvement initiatives.
- Working alongside the wider company Quality and Technical departments to undertake problem solving activities
- Development of standard operating procedures/working instructions.
- Undertaking of audits, both internal and external.
Job Requirements:
- Experience working within a steel / engineering environment.
- NVQ/Certificate/Diploma in Quality Management or similar (Preferred).
- Auditing qualifications (Preferred Knowledge of ISO9001:2015 Management System Standards.
- Aerospace Management System and / or Nadcap experience will be beneficial
- Experience of undertaking audits to the above standard(s).
- Experience of undertaking problem solving activities using techniques including 5 why, Ishikawa and 8D.
