Job Title: Trainee Mechanical Fitter
Location: Rotherham
Shifts: Days regular
Salary: £12.50 to £13 per hour
Metalis are working with our client based in Rotherham, who design, manufacture and install a range of material handling equipment and conveyors. They are looking to recruit a trainee mechanical fitter, who has recently completed their apprenticeship to join the fitting team.
Job Role:
- Learning and assisting in the installation, maintenance and repair of mechanical systems and machinery under the guidance of experienced fitters.
- You will gain the necessary skills and knowledge to become a skilled mechanical fitter.
- Working with the fitter in the building of various components and systems including; gearboxes, conveyors, crushers, hydraulic buckets and more.
Job Requirements:
- Qualification in mechanical engineering.
- Basic understanding of mechanical principles and systems.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
Package:
- £12.50 per hour to £13 per hour.
- Private medical insurance.
- 28 days holiday plus bank holidays.
