Job Role: Welder
Location: Manchester
Shift: Days Only
Salary: £13.00ph - £14.00ph (DOE)
Metalis is working in partnership with a a highly established Manufacturing company in Oldham who due to continuous growth are looking to hire a skilled Welder on a 12 week temporary to permanent contract.
Job Duties:
- Working with a variety of materials mainly light to medium stainless steel
- Perform a variety of welding techniques including MIG & TIG
- Must be able to work on your own, reading from engineering drawings
- Ability to use production equipment would be advantageous
- Ensuring your welding bay is kept clean and tidy and you adhere to strict health and safety guidelines as directed
Job Requirements:
- Experienced Welder Fabricator with a minimum of 3 years' experience
- Knowledge of using light to medium stainless materials
- Good work ethic and flexibility on overtime
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Good accuracy and attention to detail
Salary & Shift:
- Days only role
- Monday to Friday pattern
- 30am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 7.30am to 12.30pm on Friday
- £13.00ph - £14.00ph Dependant on experience
