Our client is a global aerospace manufacturing company who are renowned for their craftmanship and engineering capabilities. Due to an increase in demand they are looking for a Welder Fabricator to join their impressive shop floor and expanding team.
Shifts & Salary:
- £15.84ph overtime available at time ½ and double time
- DAYS ONLY - Monday - Friday
- 7am - 4pm (Mon-Thurs) 7am - 12 noon (Fri)
Duties & Responsibilities:
- MIG Welding working with a range of materials including stainless & mild steel
- Fabrication and development of bespoke steel fabrications
- Working from engineering drawings
- Working to precise tolerances
- Working with sheet metal
- Adherence to all Health & Safety policies and procedures
- Visually inspecting all work
Experience of the Welder Fabricator:
- Ideally apprentice trained with over 5 years' post apprenticeship experience (aerospace background would be desirable but not essential!)
- Must be able to read from engineering drawings
- Have experience working to precise tolerances
