What did you do before you worked at Metalis?
I worked in Temporary Recruitment, mainly industrial.
What do you enjoy the most about your job?
I really enjoy supporting the wider team on technical questions, a lot of the roles I work are really in depth and through conversations with candidates, my knowledge of various skillsets within engineering has come along a great deal. Following on from that, I love going out on site visits, and seeing how our clients operate, the machinery they use and how they overcome challenges in product design or machining capability. We work with such a variety of clients it’s so interesting to see each of their set ups – in particular the “old school” manual machine shops!
What do you like to do outside of work?
Anything outdoors; Hiking, Kayaking, Boating. I also love Formula One and I am a big Newcastle United fan.
