Job Role: Assembly Technician
Location: Sheffield S9 (Near Meadowhall)
Shift: 3 Shift Pattern (Morning, Afters & Nights)
Metalis are working in partnership with a prestigious manufacturer in Sheffield who due to continuous growth are looking to hire multiple Assembly Technicians on a temporary ongoing basis.
We are looking for people who have previous assembly & manufacturing experience with the ability to work within a fast paced & high quality environment.
Job duties
- Precision assembly of bespoke components
- Pressure testing
- Quality inspection f key stack components
- Operating machinery
- Working as part of team
- Following workplace health and safety procedures
- Keeping work place clean and tidy
- Following work place standard operating procedures
Person specification
- Knowledge and experience with mechanical assembly ideally apprentice trained of time served equivalent
- Experience of working to engineering drawings and technical specifications
- 5S in the workplace
- Manual handling
- Experience of working in a manufacturing / engineering environment
Salary
- £9.50ph days
- £11ph Afters
- £11.50ph Nights
