Metalis are working with a leading supplier in the Bradford area who are looking to add a Assembly Technician to their busy team on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating undertake Assembly of Precision Measuring Tools, specifically Digital Micrometres to very tight tolerances

• Part of the Assembly team
• Reports to the Assembly Supervisor
• No direct reports

The Person:

• Previous work experience in an assembly environment desirable but not essential
• Good understanding of quality standards.
• Good level of H&S understanding - safety conscious
• Good eye for detail and a steady hand for precision assembly work
• Able to work under pressure in a busy production environment with varied work demands.
• Ability to complete tasks in a timely and professional manner.
• Ability to follow verbal / written instructions.
• Enthusiastic and self-motivated. Good work ethic with a can-do / will-do approach.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills / Friendly and approachable manner.
• Excellent timekeeping.
• Flexible / adaptable to changing work demands.
