Metalis are working with a leading supplier in the Bradford area who are looking to add a Assembly Technician to their busy team on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating undertake Assembly of Precision Measuring Tools, specifically Digital Micrometres to very tight tolerances
- Part of the Assembly team
- Reports to the Assembly Supervisor
- No direct reports
The Person:
- Previous work experience in an assembly environment desirable but not essential
- Good understanding of quality standards.
- Good level of H&S understanding - safety conscious
- Good eye for detail and a steady hand for precision assembly work
- Able to work under pressure in a busy production environment with varied work demands.
- Ability to complete tasks in a timely and professional manner.
- Ability to follow verbal / written instructions.
- Enthusiastic and self-motivated. Good work ethic with a can-do / will-do approach.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills / Friendly and approachable manner.
- Excellent timekeeping.
- Flexible / adaptable to changing work demands.
