Mon- Thursday- 40 hours
Four 10 hour shifts
Working with one of our major Clients in Sheffield who have not been hard hit by Covid as they work in many different industries and sectors.
They are looking for several skilled machinists. Ideally with experience on machining large castings would be ideal.
The company offer good rates of pay for this skilled staff, paying upwards of £14.40 ph with added allowances for overtime and shifts. Currently the company operate a shift pattern of either Days and nights. Perm nights is also available.
Heidenhein experience and programming abilities would be the most ideal, however experience editing and altering programs would also be acceptable on Fanuc etc. Most programming is simple linear movements done on the machines console.
If any candidate likes the sound of this opportunity but is from a manual machining background, they will also be considered as my client has on site manual horizontal borers, millers,lathes and vertical borers that they will be eventually looking to fill.
