Metalis are working with a leading supplier in the Bradford area who are looking to add a CNC Miller to their team on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have experience in programming, setting and operating CNC Milling machines.
The Role:
- Programme, set and operate CNC Milling machines.
- Read and understand engineering drawings.
- Working to tight tolerances
- Select correct tooling and materials.
- Working to SOP's
- Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials onto machines.
- Work to set timescales and deadlines.
The Person:
- Experience of Programming HAAS/Fanuc
- Precision engineering experience is essential.
- Experience machining ferrous and non-ferrous metals including steel, aluminum, and brass.
- Mechanical Engineering / Manufacturing qualification or Apprenticeship
- Excellent health and safety knowledge
