CNC Miller Setter/Operator
Salary: £29,385 per annum
Location: Leamington Spa
Are you an experienced CNC Miller with the ability to both set up and operate CNC Milling machines? Metalis are working on behalf of our client in Warwick, who are currently recruiting!
Job Duties:
- Prepare and set up CNC milling machines for production runs, including selecting and installing appropriate tooling, fixtures, and materials.
- Create, load, and edit CNC programs as needed to produce components to required specifications.
- Operate CNC milling machines to produce hydraulic manifolds in both aluminium and steel.
- Inspect finished parts for defects, ensure they meet specifications, and make any necessary adjustments to maintain quality standards.
- Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines, including cleaning, lubrication, and tool changes, to ensure optimal performance.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Job Requirements:
- Proven experience as a CNC Miller, with the ability to both set up and operate machines.
- Strong knowledge of machining processes and materials.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot machine and tooling issues.
- Understanding of safety procedures and adherence to safety regulations.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude.
Salary & Hours:
- Salary: £29,385 pa
- Hours - Mon - Thurs 6am-2.45pm / Friday 6am -12pm (39 hours per week)
