Metalis are currently working with a company close to Barnsley, who specialise in CNC Machining, manufacturing for a range of different industries. Our client's looking for CNC Turners, capable of Programming, Setting and Operating using Fanuc control systems. Working in a very modern environment on a variety of CNC Lathes.
Hours:
- The right candidate must be willing to work Days and Afternoons, rotating weekly. 39 hours.
- Days: 06:30am until 15:00pm (early finish on Fridays)
- Afternoons: 14:30pm until 23:00pm (early finish on Fridays)
Salary:
- Salary starts at £13.50ph base rate with shift allowance included and Performance/Quality Bonus of an additional 6% is operated and applied to gross wages, (inc. overtime).
- Machinists are coming out with between £30,000 and £35,000 a year after overtime.
Duties:
- Programming, Setting and Operating a variety of CNC Lathes
- Writing and Editing Programmes
- Working with Fanuc controls
- Working to tight tolerances
- Using Measuring equipment
- Working on Medium to Large batches
