Our client are an engineering company who are going through huge growth plans for the remainder of 2021. They have a number of long term career opportunities available for people with grinding backgrounds.
If you have experience using Centreless Grinders, Cylindrical Grinders and Surface Grinders then this could be the ideal position for you! The company are offering a (Days & Afternoons shift) alongside a (3 shift pattern that incorporates; Days, After's and Nights). A shift premium will be paid in addition to standard rate.
Role Requirements:
Using grinding methods to take imperfections off components and materials
Able to follow SOP procedures and work to guided instructions
Able to accurately measure and use basic inspection equipment
Able to work under own autonomy and to Production targets
Ensure a high quality finish at all times
Be fully competent in understanding and interpreting technical drawings
Experience working with tight tolerances
Pay & Benefits:
Pay increases subject to passing probation
Profit related pay bonus, 18% of the company's profits are shared with all employees (£2500 per annum)
